Slovenščina: Schulz je gotovo že prejel moje pismo.

Vrhovcu sem sedaj poslal katalog najboljših slovanskih slovnic, leksikonov in biblij, prevedenih v vsa narečja. Dobrovský tega ni hotel storiti: Če ima lahko baron Zois vse, zakaj tega ne more Vrhovac, je dejal.

Ceterum praeclarus Dobr., ut scribit Fritz, iterum aegrotat. (!) Na pepelnično sredo je v svoji celici priredil otroški ples, na katerega je povabil množico grofic, pa vendar vse norčije zasolil s šalo. V takih obdobjih precej pleteniči in vse stvari razda.

Naš grof Ossoliński, prefekt dvorne knjižnice, je bil imenovan za membre étranger del’ Institut de France de la Classe historique, kar ga zelo veseli. To si res zasluži. Quanquam longe absit a B. S. Z.

Dem Verhovacz habe ich nun den Catalog der besten slavischen Gramm. Lex. u. Bibel übers. nach allen Mundarten eingeschickt. Dobrowsky wollte es nicht thun: kann Baron Z. alles haben, warum V. nicht, sagte er.

Ceterum praeclarus Dobr., ut scribit Fritz, iterum aegrotat (!) Am Aschermittwoch gab er einen Kinderball in seiner Zelle wozu er eine Menge Gräfinnen einlud, und doch alle Narrheiten mit Witz salzte. In solchen Perioden wäschelt er viel, und schenkt alles weg.

Unser Graf Ossolinski, Präfekt der Hofb. ist zum Membre étranger del’ Institut de France de la Classe historique ernant, was ihm sehr freut. Er verdient es. Quanquam longe absit a B. S. Z.
