Description
Français : Plaque rendant hommage à l'American Field Service, 21 rue Raynouard (Paris, 16e). Transcription : « Champagne, Verdun, Argonne. 1914-1917. Somme, Yser, Alsace. Through the house which formerly stood here passed 2437 American volunteers who served under the French flag their ambulances carried more than 400 000 wounded "Poilus" to safety and 127 gave their lives so that France might live ».
