Summary[edit]

Description Platform 8 at London Victoria. The poster attached to the railings here - and the nearby plaque, commemorate the fact that the 'Unknown Warrior' - buried at Westminster Abbey in 1920, arrived by train at this platform. The Unknown Warrior's body had been brought from France. The story of the Unknown Warrior is described on Westminster Abbey's website at www.westminster-abbey.org/our-history/people/unknown-warrior
