Till in the Pleistocene of Ontario, Canada. Tills are coarse-grained, poorly-sorted, nonbedded glacial deposits. They form as glaciers move and melt away. Locality: Straight Lake West outcrop - roadcut on the western side of Route 11, due west of Straight Lake, ~0.4 miles south of the Route 11-Roosevelt Forest Road/Anima Nipissing Road intersection & ~2.1 miles south of the town of Latchford & north of the town of Temagami, Ontario, southeastern Canada (47° 17’ 32.79” North latitude, 79° 47’ 29.17” West longitude) |
