Two chicks of Pogoniulus chrysoconus call from their nest cavity

Summary[edit]

Description
English: During a summer afternoon, 15:36, two chicks of Pogoniulus chrysoconus barbets are calling constantly from their nest cavity, while staying hidden in it. The nest was placed in a dead branch of a wild fig tree, with an entrance from below, in the garden of a farm homestead in the southern Waterberg, Limpopo. Their calls alternate and eventually overlap as the recording progresses.
