Description
English: Police of Norway: Lensmann, a rural chief of police in his office in the late 1930s. Mannequin in police uniform sitting by a table with misc. stationery. Also typewriter, etc. (Holding pen with sharp nib towards thumb is incorrect.) Photo taken on March 14th, 2019 in the Norwegian National Museum of Justice in Trondheim, Norway (Norwegian: Justismuseet i det tidligere Kriminalasylet).
Norsk bokmål: Lensmannen på sitt kontor mot slutten av 1930-tallet. På denne tida var det vanlig at kontoret lå i lensmannsboligen. Utstillinga viser en lensmann i politiuniform (lensmannsuniform modell 1935) sittende ved skrivebordet med diverse kontorutstyr og en skrivemaskin og skap i bakgrunnen. Sakene er henta fra Gloppen lensmannskontor i Gloppen og Breim kommune i Sogn og Fjordane. (Måten utstillingsdokka holder blekkpennen med den spisse pennesplitten inn mot fingeren er feil.) Foto tatt i Justismuseet i Kriminalasylet i Trondheim våren 2019.
