Description
English: Pollination mechanisms: the photo shows the mechanism of pollen release on the back of a black bee Xylocopa violacea that, unaware, in sucking the nectar activates a lever system in the flower of the Salvia sclarea that lowers the anthers up to touch its back "dirtying it" of pollen to transport it on another flower.
