Description Die Populationen der Menschheit nach Cavalli-Sforza (2000). Die Zahlen der genetischen Differenzen wurden vom Stammbaum der 38 Populationen weitgehend maßstabsgetreu auf eine Farbskala der „Regenbogenfarben" übertragen. Die so ermittelten Farbwerte bestimmen die Farbgebung der Karte.
