Description
Français : PL. 27. Porte de l’église Saint-Jacques, à Jérusalem.— Ces portes, d'un effet splendide en exécution, sont en bois d'ébène avec incrustations de nacre et d'écaille. L'ornementation n'est pas précisément arabe ; elle offre, dans les mêmes données cependant, un caractère particulier qu'on retrouve très-communément dans la Turquie et l'Asie-Mineure.
