Summary[edit]

Description
English: Soil samples for testing covered with water and KCl. Working on master`s thesis in the soil science area
English: After collecting soil samples, they were transported to the laboratory, where they were dried for several days . First, the soil was crushed in a mortar to break up permanent soil aggregates, and then to separate from skeletal parts, sieved through a sieve 2mm mesh.

Next, from each measuring station, two 10g containers of soil were weighed, and then 25ml H2O was added to one of them to measure active acidity, and 25ml KCl solution was added to the other to measure exchange acidity. Samples prepared in this way were left for 24 hours in the laboratory. Then the acidity was measured using an electronic meter

In order to determine soil buffering, 10g to 11 containers were weighed from each of 10 additionally taken soil samples. Distilled water, KCl and NaOH were added to the weighers in appropriate proportions, the soil samples were thoroughly mixed and after waiting 5 minutes the pH values were measured. Similar activities were carried out with sand samples. From the results obtained, charts were drawn to determine the area of soil buffer capacity, where the sand served as a standard solution.
Polski: Po pobraniu próbek gleby w terenie zostały one przewiezione do laboratorium, gdzie suszono przez kilka dni aż doprowadzono do powietrznie suchych. Najpierw gleba została rozdrobniona w moździerzu w celu rozbicia trwałych agregatów glebowych, a następnie w celu oddzielenia od części szkieletowych przesiana przez sito o średnicy oczek 2mm.

W dalszej kolejności z każdego stanowiska pomiarowego odważono do dwóch pojemniczków po 10g gleby, a następnie do jednego z nich dodano 25 ml H2O w celu dokonania pomiaru kwasowości czynnej, do drugiego zaś dodano 25 ml roztworu KCl aby zmierzyć kwasowość wymienną. Przygotowane w ten sposób próbki zostały pozostawione na dobę w laboratorium. Następnie dokonano pomiaru kwasowości przy pomocy elektronicznego pehametru

W celu wyznaczenia buforowości gleby z każdej z 10 dodatkowo pobranych próbek gleby odważono po 10g do 11 pojemniczków. Do odważek dodano wodę destylowaną, KCl oraz NaOH w odpowiednich proporcjach, próbki gleby dokładnie wymieszano i po odczekaniu 5 minut zmierzono wartości pH. Analogiczne czynności wykonano z próbkami piasku. Z otrzymanych wyników sporządzono wykresy w celu wyznaczenia obszaru zdolności buforowej gleby, gdzie piasek służył jako roztwór wzorcowy
