Description
Português: A Cadeia Velha de Santos é um dos edifícios coloniais mais antigos do município, construído em 1869. O prédio abrigou Casa de Câmara, Paço Municipal de Santos, Fórum e Hospital de Emergência, além de funcionar como cadeia da cidade por quase um século. Mas é no âmbito cultural que tem se destacado nos últimos anos, tendo sido ocupada pela Oficina Cultural Pagu até o início dos procedimentos para restauro. Em 2012 a prefeitura fez uma revitalização na Praça dos Andradas, a qual recebeu iluminação mais potente, recuperação da fonte, revisão do piso, limpeza da rede de drenagem junto à ciclovia, serviços de jardinagem e poda de árvores.
