English: Prestolee Aqueduct, Manchester Bolton and Bury Canal Seen from the top of Nob End Locks, this aqueduct carries the canal over the River Irwell and onwards towards Manchester. This area, once heavily industrialised, has regained a pleasant rural aspect. |
