English: Professor Dr. Shariff Enamul Kabir was born in 1955 in Gopalganj. He belonged to the 3rd batch of Jahangirnagar University. He has completed his BSC (Honors) and MSC (Masters) in Chemistry from Jahangiragar University in the year 1975 and 1976 respectively. He stood second in Bachelor and first in Masters from the same discipline. In 1986 he achieved the prestigious “Commonwealth Scholarship” to study at University College London where he did his PHD. In the year 1979, he joined Jahangirnagar University as a lecturer and now he is working as a professor. He has been enriching the university with his outstanding for the last four decades and established himself as an unparalleled talented teacher. As an internationally renowned researcher he has published more than three hundred articles in different journals.Shariff Enamul Kabir is a Bangladeshi academic who served as the Vice-Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University from 24 February 2009 until May 2012.[1][2][3] He is an elected fellow at the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences since 1999.[4] |
