Description

Beskrivelse: Foto i konvolutt fra NTBs krigsarkiv, konvolutten merket med teksten: ”Overalt i Norge kan man finne V-tegn, H7-tegn eller Leve Kongen. De finnes på alle plasser, så det er ikke vanskelig å skjønne hvor nordmennenes hjerter er.”

Fotoet stammer fra NTBs krigsarkiv og dokumenterer nordmenns protest mot NS og okkupasjonsmyndighetene i krigsprene 1940-1945. NTBs krigsarkiv består av en samling fotografier fra blant annet Regjeringens Informasjonskontor i London, Pressekontoret i Stockholm og Norsk Telegrambyrå i Oslo. Arkivet inneholder over 50 000 bilder og negativer fra 2. verdenskrig.

PROTEST ON THE BACK Photo in an envelope from NTB’s war archive, the envelope is marked with the text: “Everywhere in Norway you can find V symbols, H7 symbols or “Long live the King”. They are everywhere, so it is not hard to understand where the Norwegians’ hearts are.” The photo comes from the NTB’s war archive and documents the Norwegians’ protest against the NS (nazi party) and the occupation forces during the war years 1940-45. NTB’s war archive consists of a photo collection from the Norwegian government’s information office in London, the Press Office in Stockholm and Norsk Telegrambyrå in Oslo. The archive contains more than 50 000 photos and negatives from WWII.
