Summary[edit]

Description
English: Pseudomyrmex gracilis colony chamber - Mount Dora, Florida, USA - photo by Joseph Stansbury Rosin This image shows multiple life stages of P. gracilis, the 'elongate twig ant' nesting in a sabal palm frond - this is looking at the area where the leaf base meets the petiole. This nest was at the top of the tree until a storm blew it down, the front of this chamber chipped off as I moved it to a waste pile on 2018-09-01.
