Summary[edit]

Description
English: Public Right of Way This track is a Public Right of Way from Cargo Fleet railway station finishing apparently in the middle of nowhere at the end of the Dabholm Gut. It was used as a sailors' trod and known as the Black Path where it passed close to the iron and coke works on account of the soot and general grime deposited. The land in this square was all reclaimed from the Tees estuary by the Victorian ironmasters.
