| Description |
English: Pukkipalo old-growth forest in Kurjenrahka national park, Finland. The forest contains trees of diverse ages and a few species. In the picture you can see spruces, pines and birch trees. The smallest spruces are just seedlings and the oldest pines are standing snags (dead trees) or fallen and decaying.
Suomi: Pukkipalon aarniometsää Kurjenrahkan kansallispuistossa. Puistossa on paljon eri-ikäisiä monen eri lajin puita. Kuvassa näkyy kuusia, mäntyjä ja koivuja. Pienimmät kuusista ovat vasta taimia, kun taas vanhimmat männyt ovat kelottuneet tai kaatuneet lahopuuksi maahan. |
