Summary[edit]

Description
English: Pumice on the island of Pantelleria in Italy. The rock contains holes, which were bubbles of gas when the molten lava was erupted from a volcano. The holes show some flattening and alignment, reminscent of imbrication of clasts in sedimentary rock.
