Summary[edit]

Description Queen Charlton Village Green and late Mediaeval Cross, 31 May 2015. The village was originally named simply Charlton but the prefix 'Queen' was added when Henry VIII gave ther estate to his then Queen, Catherine Parr Dick King-Smith, author of 'Babe, lived in the village until his death in 2011.
