Description
Deutsch: Bleniotal im Kanton Tessin mit restaurierter Römerbrücke bei Aquila-Grumarone. Im Hintergrund der spitze Sosto (Adula-Alpen) weiter talaufwärts. Der weitgehend auch heute naturbelassene Fluss Brenno fliesst heute hinter dem Wiesenbereich rechts im Bild, auf alten Luftbildern (externer Link zu geo.admin.ch (1 - 1943) und (2 - 1934 mit alten Wegespuren flussaufwärts) deutet sich an, dass die relativ kleine Brücke eher über einen rechtsseitig zufliessenden Wildbach oder einen Seitenarm des Brenno gebaut worden war.
