Description

Tiger Meet RIAT 1991.

Aufklärungsgeschwader 52 (Reconnaissance Wing 52) 'Immelmann' was based at Leck in northern Germany.

The Luftwaffe RF-4E's were phased out in 1994. AG52 was disbanded, but this was not the end of the tigers. Sister wing AG51, based at Bremgarten in southern Germany, took over the tiger emblem and moved to Schleswig airbase in the north. AG51 is now Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 51 (TLG51) and operates Tornados.

35+26 went to the Turkish Air Force and was finally grounded in 2009.
