RHP 6/MRJA30 roller bearing designated Superblend by Norton

Summary[edit]

Description
English: 6/MRJA30 roller bearing (marked R&M and later RHP) designated Superblend by Norton in Service Release N2/9 of August 1972 with Part No. 063906. This was a 'special' bearing with additional crowning to the roller surface. It is normal for the '6' to be hand engraved. The bearing solved the problem of early main bearing failures with the Commando Combat engine variant. A Service Release N2/10 of January 1973 superseded this bearing with a stronger but standard F.A.G. NJ306E roller bearing.
