English: A negative result on an rK39 immunochromatographic strip test suggests that no antibodies against the rK39 antigen associated with Leishmania donovani were detected in your blood at the time of the test. This generally indicates that you do not have a current or recent infection with visceral leishmaniasis caused by Leishmania donovani. However, it's important to keep in mind that a negative result does not necessarily rule out the possibility of past exposure to the parasite or an early-stage infection, as antibodies may take some time to develop and may not be detectable in the very early stages of the disease.
