Description
Føroyskt: Rakel Helmsdal er ein føroyskur rithøvundur. Hon gav út ungdómsskaldsøguna "Hon, sum róði eftir ælaboganum" í 2014. Gunnar Nolsøe hevði samrøðu við hana um bókina í Norðurlandahúsinum á Barna- og Ungdómsbókafestivalinum Kom og les, sum var hildin 5. apríl 2014. Rakel hevur vunnið fleiri bókmentavirðislønir. Hon arbeiðir eisini við sínum egna Karavella Marionett-Teatur.
English: Rakel Helmsdal is a Faroese writer. In 2014 she published a novel for the youth with the title "Hon, sum róði eftir ælaboganum" (She, who was rowing for the rainbow). This photo was taken on 5 April 2014 in the Nordic House in Tórshavn at a Children's and Youth Book Festival. "Kom og les" (Come and read). Here she is reading from her novel.
