Español: El 3 de diciembre de 1854 es abolida la esclavitud en el Perú por el presidente Ramón Castilla. Aunque durante la independencia, San Martín decreta la libertad de vientres, lo que quería decir que nadie nacía esclavo en el Perú; es hasta 31 años después que quedó abolida la esclavitud en Perú.
Ramón Castilla, militar y presidente del Perú, decretó la libertad para los esclavos negros, el 3 de diciembre de 1854, en Huancayo, durante un periodo de gobierno provisional durante la época de guerra civil que libraba contra José Rufino Echenique. |
