Summary[edit]

Description
English: The former Red Lion public house in Goodramgate, York. One of York’s old coaching inns from at least 1727. When it was offered to let in 1830 the premises included a club and sale room, a good tap room and a private brewer. After the demise of state coach travel, its fortunes declined and it was offered for sale in 1866, there after the licence was withdrawn and the public house ceased.
