Description
English:
Reformed church, copf (Middle European late Baroque) style, built between 1791 and 1795, burned down in 1801. It was rebuilt between 1801-1804 by Antal Czigler, expanded in 1820-1821 and 1875. Organ made in 1824-1828. Above the southern two-story gallery stands the helmeted tower. Listed - 4 Petőfi Square, Downtown, Gyula, Békés County, Hungary

Református templom, copf stílusú, épült 1791-1795 között, 1801-ben leégett. 1801-1804 között újjáépítette Czigler Antal, bővítették 1820-1821-ben és 1875-ben. Orgona 1824-1828-ban készült. Kétszintes, órapárkányos, saroklizénákkal díszített, tagolt sisakos tornya volutadíszes, kővázás ívelt oromfalakkal kapcsolódik a hajóhoz. További homlokzatait lizénák osztják falmezőkre, oldalhomlokzatain vakolt keretben szegmensíves, É-i homlokzatán földszinti kisméretű, szegmensíves és emeleti félkörös záródású ablakok. Boltozott Ny-i előcsarnokából és az É-i karzatfeljáróból nyílnak az oldalbejáratok. A D-i oldalon középen félkörös, kétoldalt kosáríves nyílású boltozott, mellvédes karzat, É-i oldalán kosár- és szegmensíves árkádos, boltozott, falazott mellvédes orgonakarzat. A K-i oldalon a Mózes-székkel egybeépített hangvetős szószék, előtte úrasztala a keresztelőmedencével. Három oldalról padsorok Műemléki azonosító: 2481, törzsszám:716 - Békés megye, Gyula, Belváros, Petőfi tér 4 4A., Hrsz.: 11.
