Description
English: Entry submitted by Carrère and Hastings in the 1890–1892 design competition for Rhode Island's new State House. The entry submitted by Carrère and Hastings design is one of only two that lacked domes (the other being that of George C. Mason & Son). The design was dubbed a "disappointment" in the March 14, 1892 issue of The Architectural Review [1][2]
