Larsen Arrived in Los Angeles Harbor Yesterday and immediately began loading the 10,000 tons of whalers' and explorers' supplies destined for Commander Byrd's South Pole thrust and for use by the Ross Sea Whaling Company operating in the most southern of all waters. Commander Byrd and fourteen other members of his party will go aboard today and the sturdy craft will set sail with the flood tide at 5 p.m. today. The Byrd planes, loaded at Norfolk, Va., were aboard and in perfect condition.
