Description
Deutsch: Riesen-Nachtfalter besuchte uns im Haus am Abend, um 20:17 Uhr. Buea / Kamerun. Er kam durch die weit geöffnete Balkontüre und setzte sich auf den Fussboden. Nach einigen Minuten haben wir ihn vorsichtig wieder mittels einem Papier nach draussen befördert. Er flog selbst in die Nacht Richtung Kamerun-Berg. Der Nachtfalter hatte eine Größe von 12 cm (Spannweite).
English: Giant moth, probably Saturniinae: Bunaeini came for a visit at night in Buea / Cameroon at 8:17 p.m. It entered the door of the balcony and it sit on the floor. After a few minutes we moved it on top of a paper and released it carefully to the outside and it flew itself towards Cameroon Mountain in the night. The size of the moth was 12 cm.
