Summary

[edit]
Description
English: River Churnet and Caldon Canal, south-east of Cheddleton Oak Meadow Ford Lock on the left allows the boats from the Caldon Canal into the course of the River Churnet for the mile to Consall Forge. As can be seen, the river was flowing very strongly on this day, and narrowboats were instructed not to come through the lock.
