English: River Gipping in Flood 29 May 2006 The River Gipping looking south from Bramford Bridge after heavy rain in May 2006. The river has burst its banks, and has flooded the picnic area, which is part of the flood plain, on the left of the photograph. The embankment which forms the left bank of the river appears as an island. |
