| Description |
English: River Moriston below Dundreggan Immediately below the Dundreggan Dam, the River Moriston has some steep and awkward rapids for the skilled canoeist. After that initial burst of energy, the river relaxes somewhat on this stretch with eddies and slower flowing reaches. There are still boulder rapids and one bedrock strid in this short section to challenge canoeists when the dam releases enough water (as it would on the day following this photograph, taken during the 2009 Wet West Paddlefest). |
