[edit]DescriptionRms carpathia passengers on deck 1914 blasius zeiser osa group of 1914.JPG |
English: Rare on-deck image of passengers on RMS Carpathia during a 1914 overseas tour led by Father Blasius Zeiser, OSA. Carpathia rescued the Titanic disaster survivors in 1912. The Titanic-rescue-voyage's captain's last year of service was 1914. Carpathia was sunk in 1918 during World War One. The steamer passengers pictured include adults, children, and an infant who sit in deck chairs or stand. One empty deck chair is visible. In the distance above the group is a densely-packed crowd on a higher-up deck or perhaps touring the wing bridge. |

This work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 70 years or fewer. You must also include a United States public domain tag to indicate why this work is in the public domain in the United States. Copyright may extend on works created by French who died for France in World War II (more information), Russians who served in the Eastern Front of World War II (known as the Great Patriotic War in Russia) and posthumously rehabilitated victims of Soviet repressions (more information).
