Deutsch: Hohenlimburg war unter der NS-Herrschaft von 1933–1945 eine regionale Hochburg. Ende der 1930er Jahre fährt der NS-Politiker und Reichsorganisationsleiter der NSDAP Robert Ley (1890–1945) im Autokorso von Hagen kommend in Hohenlimburg ein. Der Fotograf steht an der damaligen „Straße der SA“ (heute Stennertstraße) vor dem Haus Pelzing gegenüber der Villa Wälzholz an der Endhaltestelle der Straßenbahnlinie Hohenlimburg–Hemer. Die Häuser sind geflaggt, die Zuschauer heben die Arme zum Hitlergruß. Vermutlich fährt Ley's Wagenkolonne nach Iserlohn und wird hier bei der Durchfahrt bejubelt. |
