Description
Deutsch: St. Antonius und Shenouda (4). Die koptisch orthodoxe Kirche St. Antonius und St. Shenouda (nach St. Antonius dem Großen und St. Schenute von Atripe) auf dem Roedeliusplatz, Ansicht von Nordwesten II. Seit 1999 ist die koptische Gemeinde Inhaber des Erbbaurechts am Grundstück und Eigentümerin der Kirche. 1903-05 von Ludwig von Tiedemann als evangelische Glaubenskirche erbaut.
English: Ss. Anthony and Shenouda (4). The Coptic Orthodox Church of Ss. Anthony the Great and Shenouda the Archimandrite on Roedeliusplatz square in Berlin-Lichtenberg, view from northwest ii. Since 1999 the Coptic Orthodox congregation of Berlin is the legal holder of the Erbbaurecht (German leasehold estate) of the site and the proprietor of the church building proper, which it purchased from the Protestant Alt-Lichtenberg congregation, who owned the church before, then named Church of Faith (Glaubenskirche). The building was erected between 1903 and 1905 by Ludwig von Tiedemann.
