Justice Pryor is 90 Years Old. General Roger Atkinson Pryor, ex-Justice of the Supreme Court of New York, celebrated his ninetieth birthday yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William de Leftwich Dodge, at Setauket, Long Island, where he is spending the Summer. He received numerous congratulatory telegrams and letters. General Pryor, who was born in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, in 1828, came to New York after the civil war, in which he served with the Confederates. He was a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas from 1890 until 1894 and a Justice of the Supreme Court from 1894 until he retired in 1899.
