Description
  • English: Roman glass beaker from second half of the 4th century. Found in Cologne, now in the Glyptothek Munich. The style is called diatret, there are only 50 beakers left, most are broken. The characters at the top: "Bibe multis annis" short for "Bibe vivas multis annis" (Drink and you will live for many years"). Photographed by myself in Antikensammlung München.
