Description
English: Caryatids above the entrance of the 2 rue du Quatre-Septembre, 2nd arr. Paris. Paris. Building built in 1870 by Henry Dubois. The caryatids sculpted by Aimé Millet (1819-1891) are said "sheathed" (their lower part is melted in a pillar).
Français : Cariatydes au dessus de l'entrée du 2 rue du Quatre-Septembre, 2e arr. Paris. Immeuble construit en 1870 par Henry Dubois. Les caryatides sculptées par Aimé Millet (1819-1891) sont dites "engainées" (leur partie inférieure est prise dans un pilier).
