Description
Deutsch: HDR-Aufnahme mit anschließendem TM aus einer 5er-Belichtungsserie des Runenstein Kårestad.

"Klackes söner läto hugga stenen efter sin fader och efter Kale och Viking, sina bröder."

"Klackes Söhne ließen diesen Stein ritzen für ihren Vater und für Kale und Viking, ihre Brüder."

Der Runenstein steht wahrscheinlich auf seinem ursprünglichen Platz und ist ein Gedenk- und kein Grabstein. Die Todesursache der 3 Männer ist unbekannt, ebenso der Name des Vaters. Das man den Namen Viking bekommen konnte zeigt, dass das Wort Wikinger eine positive Bedeutung hat. Dieser Name kommt auf über zwanzig Runensteinen vor.
