Description
Svenska: Räpplinge kyrka.Altaruppsats i lantlig rokoko skulpterad av Jonas Berggren 1755 med centralmotiv: ” ”Korsresningen”. Över denna en ängel bärande ett kors samt allra överst den Helige Ande i form av en duva inom solstrålar och moln. På vardera sida av ramverket gestalter som symboliserar lag och evangelium. Det tillhörande altaret är samtida med uppsatsen.
English: Räpplinge Church.Reredos in rural rococo sculpted by Jonas Berggren 1755 with central motives: ”Cross Rising”. Above this an angel bearing a cross and the very top of the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove in the sun rays and clouds. On either side of the framework figures who symbolize law and gospel. The associated altar is contemporary with the essay.
