Deutsch:

As part of the "Quality program S-Bahn PLUS", 17 Berlin S-Bahn stations were given a new look by the end of Autumn 2018 on behalf of DB Station and Service. Project management for the remodeling of twelve of the 17 stations, including the Schöneberg S-Bahn station, was contracted out to the agency Schmidt & Pütz.[3]
According to the agency Schmidt & Pütz,
At the Schöneberg station, the many sea-blue tiles that run through the entire station architecture were the inspiration for a colorful water world in pixel art.[4]
