Italiano: La statua in bronzo di Apollo citarista (h. cm 158), databile alla metà dei I sec. a.C., è una replica del tipo attribuito a Heghias, maestro di Fidia, della metà del V sec. a.C., che ci mostra il dio ignudo che teneva nella sua sinistra la cetra mentre nella destra ha ancora il plettro. Rinvenuta a Pompei nella Casa del Citarista (I, 4, 25), si trova oggi nel Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (inv. 5630).
Français : La statue originale en bronze, dite Apollon cithariste (h. cm 158, milieu du Ier s. av. J.C.), est une variante du type attribué à Hegias, du milieu du Ve s. av. J.C. Le dieu nu porte encore le plectre dans la main droite, la lyre de la main gauche a disparu. Trouvée à Pompéi, dans la maison éponyme du cithariste, elle est actuellement au Musée Archéologique National de Naples (inv. 5630).
