Description
English: SS Winthrop Victory circa 1945, launch. On May 17,1945, the S. S. Winthrop Victory was launched. It's unique MC Hull No. was 790. The Winthrop Victory was a cargo ship built during World War II along with hundreds of other Victory ships to replace ships lost to German submarines. This photograph is of the S. S. Winthrop Victory being launched on May 17, 1945.
