Description
English: The "Star of Yoonir" is part of the Serer people's cosmos. It is one of many religious symbols in Serer religion and cosmology. It is the brightest star of the universe and commonly known as the Star of Sirius. "Yoonir" may mean the companion, the guide, the accompanist, etc.
