Description
Italiano: Il rito del "Suonare le conchiglie" al Castel Verde di Castagnito, a mezzogiorno del Sabato Santo. Capita una volta all'anno ed in cui ogni campana tace in attesa della Pasqua di resurrezione. Qui, nel punto più alto del paese roerino, a mezzogiorno in punto, tutti possono venire qui, soffiare dentro le proprie coclee marine e colmare il temporaneo silenzio dei rintocchi del campanile parrocchiale: proprio perché si tratta del Sabato Santo, che viene dopo il venerdì del dolore e della crocifissione di Gesù ricordata dai Vangeli. Il rito diventa dunque un segno di speranza dell'uomo che si affida ad uno strumento musicale primordiale, per dire “sono vivo, e lo voglio far sapere a tutti”:
