| Description |
English: This article describes the reinterment to the campus of Vanderbilt University of the bodies of two prominent early Methodist bishops in Tennesse: William McKendree and Joshua Soule. The address of Bishop Holland McTyeire, then Chair of the University Board of Trust and driving force behind the foundation of the university, is recorded. In that address, McTyeire describes the lives of the two bishops who were being reburied. |
