Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, University of East Anglia (aerial) Norman Foster's building (the large white one) is home to the Robert and Lisa Sainsbury collection of world art. In 2005 it underwent major refurbishment including an underground extension to join the main building with the Crescent Wing (in front). The maze like feature was part of the Out There outdoor sculpture exhibition in summer 2005. The ziggurat buildings are Sir Denys Lasdun's student residences, Norfolk Terrace. Beyond them are the western end of the Teaching Wall, the Constable Terrace student residence (curved white building), the new Biomedical Sciences building (small curved white building), plus the Elizabeth Fry, Medical School, Queen's, and Education/Computing Sciences buildings, dating from various points in the university's expansion between the 1960s and the present day.
