Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire (Maine-et-Loire). Le pont, qui relie Saint-Rémy-la-Varennes à Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire, remplace un pont suspendu construit en 1847. Ce nouveau pont , construit de 1951 à 1954, est un pont en treillis métallique (acier). Ce pont routier (D55) est un pont poutre de type Warren avec montants. Le constructeur, l'entreprise Baudin Châteauneuf, est née en 1919 grâce au rapprochement d'un entrepreneur (Basile Baudin) et d'un ingénieur spécialiste des ponts (Georges Imbault). L'entreprise fut fondée à Châteauneuf-sur-Loire elle y a toujours son siège. |
