Description
English: Saint Ambrose of Milan

Bishop, doctor and Father of the Western Catholic Church. He contributed to the conversion of Saint Augustine and to putting an end to the Arian heresy. He was trained in Latin culture. Jean-François Godescard, born in Rocquemont on March 30, 1728 and died in Paris on August 21, 1800, was a Catholic priest from the diocese of Rouen, author and translator of numerous works. François Adolphe Bruneau Audibran is a French etching, burin and dotted engraver born in Paris on September 8, 1810 and died in the same city, and active at least until 1865.

François Adolphe Bruneau Audibran est un graveur à l'eau-forte, au burin et au pointillé français né à Paris le 8 septembre 1810 et mort dans la même ville, et actif au moins jusqu'en 1865.
